UBAYA MM-MAKSI is the finalist of The 7th PPM Regional Business Case Competition

UBAYA MM-Maksi students became the finalists of the 7th PPM Regional Business Case Competition that is an annual competition for Master of Management (MM) students Asian-wide with total prize money of US$ 5,300 held by PPM School Of Management Jakarta. In 2016, the case used by the committee is the business case of PT. Tatalogam Lestari, with the theme “Redefining Business Towards Leadership and Sustainable Growth in the Dynamics of Regional Economy“.

The University of Surabaya sent one team of MM-Master of Accounting (Maksi) namely PR3MAX comprising of Rico Tedyono, Moch. Reyzan Imanda, and Ryan Febrian Sugiarto, with Dr. Werner R. Murhadi and Dr. Dudi Anandya as supervisors. From the 52 teams that sent their analysis, only 12 best teams qualified to Jakarta. The 12 best teams are from Philippines (2 teams), Malaysia (1 team), and Indonesia (9 teams) where from the 12 teams, Ubaya is ranked 3rd.

The 12 teams are invited to present their business idea in front of 6 judges on November 30th, 2016, which one of them is the PRE3MAX team. All teams also underwent a debate session to defend their ideas. From the presentation and debate session results, 4 best teams qualified to the Grand Final. But unfortunately this time, the PR3MAX team is not able to be in the top 4.
