MM Ubaya student’s participation in the Global NETWORK WEEKS
On March 15-18, 2021, an MM Ubaya student, Viktor Adrian, participated in the Global Network Series event. Every year in March and October, more than 750 students from Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) member universities worldwide participate in Global Network Week (GNW) activities in various countries. The students visit other GNAM member universities by traveling across continents in 30 countries.
In 2021, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 11th Global Network Week was held online. This year, the participants were Master of Management students nationwide from Indonesian Master of Management Program Alliance (APMMI) members, Yale School of Management USA, Koç University Graduate School of Business Turkey, EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey Mexico, INCAE Business School Costa Rica, UBC Sauder School of Business Canada, Business School Renmin University of China, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Seoul National University Business School, UNSW Business School Australia, and SKOLVO – Moscow, Russia.
This year, the theme chosen is “Innovation in the Pandemic Age: Lessons from Businesses that Successfully Grow”. In this 5 (five)-day program, students learn perspectives on how this pandemic presents challenges to industry and opportunities to transform and grow from business practitioners, economists, local business owners, and government as policymakers.
Viktor’s participation as a student representing MM Ubaya is expected to provide an international experience for MM Ubaya students. It is hoped that in the following years, more MM Ubaya students will participate in this international level collaborative activity.
