SCALE ME UP is a workshop that aims to hone the soft skills of the Ubaya FBE graduate students, train them to be able to identify new business opportunities, and find innovations in existing businesses. This activity’s theme is “Leading Through Innovation”, which is an event with a vision that is oriented towards developing future skills and leadership. The activity, which began with the implementation of the online psychological test from Synergy Human Empowerment (SHE), aims to divide participants into five groups based on the psychological test results so that a complementary group is obtained. This group will later become a forum for participants to process together by making an innovative idea related to Ubaya development associated with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). After the psychological test, the activity was continued with a workshop held for two days; the first day was the speakers’ presentation and the second day was the presentation of the project results and the judges’ assessment.

 The speakers in this activity were: Prof. Drs. ec. Wibisono Hardjopranoto M.S., who presented Session 1: Learning, Decision Making & Leading Skills in Digital Era, Drs. Wiyono Pontjoharyo, M.M., Ak., CMA., who presented Session 2: How to Compete with Automatons? – Part 1, Mr. Adhicipta Raharja Wirawan, S.E., M.A., Ak., who presented Session 3: How to Compete with Automatons? – Part 2, and Dr. Bonnie Soeherman, S.E., M.Ak., who presented Session 4: Presentation Skills. Session 1 explained how to be a good leader and how to make appropriate decisions. Sessions 2 and 3 discussed how we could live side by side with technology and utilize it, both in terms of theoretical concepts and practical examples in life. The last session, Session 4, discussed how to make the right presentation online and offline.

The total participants who joined in this activity were 38 people plus 5 mentors divided into 5 different groups that produced interesting ideas. The material presented received positive and active responses from the participants. This was stated in the post-test that the participants filled in. The participants’ new ideas also received positive responses from the judges; they were even appreciated as a new program by Ubaya to be realized. 3 judges assessed the participants’ projects, namely Prof. Drs. ec. Sujoko Efferin, M.Com (Hons)., M.A., Ph.D., Aris Surya Putra, S, E., M.Ak., and Gunawan Christianto, S.E., M.M. In this activity, the judges decided Group 4 as the most favorite group with the idea of ​​creating an application called “UBAYA SMART APPS”, which is an application with many features such as community platforms, class schedules, e-wallet top-up balances, the Ubaya clinic, and other general facilities.
